Director of Audiology
Mindy Schmelzer, is the Supervisor of Audiology at Westchester Institute of Human Development (WIHD) and a Lecturer in the Graduate Speech/Language Pathology Program at New York Medical College. Her areas of interest include electrophysiologic assessment of hearing, early identification of hearing loss, pediatric hearing aids and cochlear implants.
Mindy received her Au.D. from Salus University-School of Audiology and her M.S. from Arizona State University. She completed her internship at the Phoenix Veterans’ Administration Hospital and her Clinical Fellow Year at Albert Einstein College Hospital.
