Dr. Katrina Stidham is a fellowship-trained neurotologist and skull base surgeon practicing medical and surgical otology. Dr. Stidham received her medical education at Duke University School of Medicine, during which time she completed research under a distinguished Howard Hughes Fellowship. She completed her surgical internship and residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Stanford University Hospital. Subsequently, Dr. Stidham completed her otology/neurotology/skull base fellowship at the California Ear Institute at Stanford and received the national Neurotology Fellowship Award for research completed during this time.
Dr. Stidham’s scope of practice includes care for pediatric and adult patients with ear diseases, hearing difficulties, dizziness and balance problems, and facial nerve disorders. She has special interests in congenital hearing loss, pediatric otology, cholesteatomas, cochlear implants, Meniere’s disease, dizziness, acoustic neuromas, otosclerosis, and chronic infections.
Before joining the ENT Faculty Practice, Dr. Stidham was in practice in California for eight years, where she was a partner at the California Ear Institute at San Ramon, medical director of the Cochlear Implant Program at Children’s Hospital and Research Center Oakland, and volunteer clinical faculty at Stanford.
Dr. Stidham is an Associate Professor in the departments of Otolaryngology and Neurosurgery at New York Medical College and chief of Neurotology at Westchester Medical Center. In addition, she serves as the Medical Director of the Balance Center at Westchester Medical Center and the Director of the Cochlear Implant Program at WMC and Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital. She is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology and the American Neurotology Society. She has multiple publications and presents frequently to colleagues and patients at local, national, and international forums.
Dr. Stidham has regularly scheduled office hours at our Hawthorne office in Westchester County.
